Sculptural Tie-Shoulder Mini Dress

A structured black mini dress, designed with adjustable tie shoulders, a fitted bodice, and a sculptural skirt that holds its form.

Made from a fabric selected for its clean drape and remarkable wrinkle resistance, this piece balances softness and structure — polished enough for small occasions, yet easy enough to move in.

The shoulder ties allow for a more flexible fit, while the flared skirt brings shape, movement, and presence without feeling overly dressed.

Composition

65.9% Polyester, 23.5% Rayon, 8% Wool, 2.6% Spandex

Care

Due to the delicate wool blend, do not machine wash or tumble dry, as it may alter the fabric's natural luster and structured form. Dry clean recommended. Alternatively, gentle hand wash cold, reshape, and lay flat to dry.

Design Note

This dress began with a contrast: structure and softness, clarity and movement.

The black body gives the piece its defined form, while the tie shoulders soften the silhouette with a more delicate gesture. It is designed to feel shaped, but not rigid — present, but not overdone.

This piece is designed to stand on its own, while also belonging to OBSIDA FORM’s first exploration of quiet visual echoes between women’s and children’s pieces.
